CMR's CORE TEAM

Del Heles - President
Del is the Founder and President of Computer Market Research. Before establishing his company in 1984, Del worked as a market research consultant helping small businesses create marketing and business plans, and to obtain loans from the Small Business Association (SBA). He then acted as Executive Director for Industrial Development Inc., a non-profit economic development organization based out of Denver, Colorado.

After conducting several research studies for companies such as Stoffer’s Food, Weatherby Inc. and the U.S. Bureau of Printing and Engraving, Del discovered that the labor-intensive nature of the business was costing companies thousands of dollars. He decided to streamline the process by creating a software solution that would automate the data collection and tabulation process with the goal of reducing the labor costs involved.

Beginning with an Electronic Warranty Registration solution for Acer America, Del applied his in-depth understanding of channel conflicts to lead software development teams in the creation of new systems to streamline the data collection method, and soon thereafter was providing services to industry giants such as Lucent Technologies, Palm and Fujitsu.

Other software applications and services offered based on Del's vision include the introduction of a portal for VAR's, 4VARS.com, in the late 90's and web-based tools to automate standard processes in Co-op/MDF Administration, Channel POS Reporting and Data Collection, Electronic Warranty Registration, Enterprise-wide Contact Management, Partner Relationship Management and Customer Relationship Management.

Today, with software development teams and field staff in San Diego and San Jose, CMR creates turnkey Channel POS and data management solutions for companies that distribute products to the high tech industry, and under Del’s direction and hands-on philosophy, expanding in the near future into other industries where channel management is an essential business practice.
